This is hilarious. I love your idea of making a tote bag for sewing class for it. I might just have to make my own for craft night. ♥
Thank you so much, Susan! I'm so glad you stopped by! :o)
LOL!!!!!!! Ha ha ha! I love it!
Lori, what a sweet thing to say, thank you.....you girls have made my morning so bright!!!! I needed that! A community of sewists we are, aren't we?! Funny, no matter where in the world you are, sewing is always the same with its joy and goof-ups!!!
Thank you, Su! I like your idea about a sewing quilt! I was thinking of making a tote bag for sewing class from it. :o)
Looks great printed Amy - this would be so much fun in a sewing themed quilt!
Amy, laughing at your design and reading all the comments here, makes me realize what kindred souls we all are. i'm happy to see your design process and honored to be part of your circle : ) As Shirley says.....you win in my book!
Shirley, Thank you so much!!!! :o)

You have sewn in the front lines! Now we need a sequel on machine tension.

Great!! What else is there to say- you win in my book.
Thank you so much, Lori! I have done the uneven hem thing more times than I care to remember!!!! Sewing is always an adventure....an adventure into how-many-different-ways-can-I-screw-up-this-project world!!! LOL, thanks for taking a look Lori! :o)
Tee-hee! A clever and unique take on the subject Amy! And I just love the colors in the uneven hem square. Don't they look so good together?

I know what you mean, Janiece! It is too painful to watch! I think I'd have to go into major therapy while i was right there in it! LOL Talk about pressure! Seam rippers....love them! Thanks for taking a look, Janiece :o)

I have definitely done the hemming pants screw up more than once. Such a simple project in theory lol. I good seam ripper IS essential. I love to watch the shows like project runway, partly because they do the same screwball mistakes as we all do. I always feel sorry for them when I see them ripping out a seam under the time restraints they have. It's like you can feel their heart racing knowing it was a dumb mistake while reaching for their golden ring. If I were ever to be in that sort of competition I know I'd have to go into major therapy after it was over.
Su, when it comes to sewing, I think anything is possible! I once sewed a pair of pants one side right and one side wrong like the blouse in the design....you'd think I would have figured that out before I finished them?....nope!!!! LOL, it is always an adventure, sewing!!!! Thank you for checking my design out Su! :o)
Oh Amy - you have this so right and true! Brings my own particular experience to mind - although I still wonder at how a person can sew a yoke right sides together but twisted in the middle... nevertheless I managed it... seam ripper to the rescue...
magentarose and Lynn, I new all the sewists out there would appreciate this!~ Thank you so much, girls for taking a look and leaving your lovely feedback! :o)
I love the humour here Amy! The seam ripper is my best friend too haha! Brilliant design! :)
I'm with you there too...hilarious and well done as usual, Amy!
Well, just so you know, the seam ripper is my best friend forever, Deborah! LOL I had fun with this one for sure! Thanks for taking a look !
So funny, Amy, and, yes, the seam ripper is my friend. Very clever you are.
Thank you, dear Moira, I know the seam ripper is definitely my favorite notion...I'd be lost without it! :o)
This is FAB - and oh so very true!
