Coloured pencil crayons, with a life of their own, poised and ready to draw.
Coloured pencil crayons, with a life of their own, poised and ready to draw.. I always much preferred pencil crayons to wax crayons. These drawings were done with just some of the colours from a 24-colour pack of Faber-Castell pencil crayons. Other excellent brands of pencil crayons do of course exist.
Currently featuring: bat black, owl brown, pig pink, dragon red, tabby-cat orange, canary yellow, frog green and lizard blue. Other colours, stylings, sizes and orientations are available on request, eg with wight white or on a squared paper background, and you can even ask for a combination of several designs together.

Really beautiful drawings Sef!
Crayon gargoyles! Brilliant!
They might be grotesques but they probably lack the plumbing to be gargoyles.
had to look twice before noticing they were crayon gargoyles... so clever and fun!!! Really nice illustrations :)
Nice eclectic monsters. Well done.
These were done quite quickly with one of the sets of pencil crayons I always keep immediately to hand (if I stretch out just a little bit from my usual floor position). I have many more and larger sets but didn't really need more colours for this project. I'd normally ink first and only add colour later but that seemed to be forbidden for this contest (and the chances are that all the US people will exclude my entry anyway). However, I then had no end of trouble getting my scanner to read and save these in their drawn state rather than (ineptly) trying to reduce them each to minimal colours - losing the pencil strokes in the process.
Nice heraldic-looking monsters! I'm trying to pick a favorite but keep changing my mind, they're all fun! I forget that across the pond you call colored pencils 'pencil crayons' - rats, I missed my chance - I love colored pencils! (wax crayons, not so much...)
