There is an overall friendly feeling projected by this bright and colourful design! No scary monsters here; just critters with expressive eyes begging to be liked! A super design, Deborah!:-)
Amen on the crayons, but you've made it bold and bright.
Thanks, Penny. Crayons are beasts when it comes to reproducing a design, aren't they, Penny, and they don't seem to have as much "oomph" as when I was little. It's almost as if the ingredients have been changed. Anyway, appreciate your having a look.
Not an easy task using crayon but you pulled it off Deborah, fun and colorful!!!!
Thanks, Amy. I wasn't going to enter the Monster contest, but then I did a doodle and things kind of rolled on from there. Appreciate your comments. Thank you.
Such a fun design, Deborah...love the eyes!
Thanks for taking a look, Lori. I appreciate your comments. Thank you!
Oh, thanks so much, Lisa, for your comments. So happy that you took a look. Thank you.
WOW! Very cool! Love the textures that you achieved with the crayons.
I know -- shocking am I, but crayolas can't give detail to eyes no matter how much I sharpened the points. I'm sure there is some talented designer on Spoonflower that can make crayola eyes look good, but it isn't me. Monsters weren't appealing to me if I had to make them scary and ugly! Thank you for your comments, Su.
Such fun Deborah!! And so eye-catching - love the range of pinks and wonderful crayon-y textures in the background! I can imagine lots of children dressed in this design - and it would be great giftwrap too! (Nice to read your process notes too - but I was shocked to read that you'd fudged on the eyes!! :-))
