Thank you acbeilke and inscribed_here :]
These ladies are lovely and I want some of their dresses for myself - the necklines are all gorgeous.
If spoonflower had a "like" button I would had clicked it for this!
Just a detail shot of two of the ladies so you can see the pencil lines etc. better :].
dollproject uploaded a fabric image for
Target Practice :
Thank you gurumania :]
I loveeeee your design,beautifully accomplished :D
No prob, I actually didn't even notice until you mentioned it! :P
Thank you Cean, Weavingmajor and Victorialasher :]. Ooh..a dragonfly type design would make a really pretty wedding gown neckline. I used to sculpt a lot of fairies and fantasy figures, so I guess I was drawing on that when I clothed these girls. Pattysloniger, I am sorry I spelled your name wrong!
your dragonfly neckline is giving me ideas for my daughter's bridal gown.
Very, very nice. I think these ladies should stand someplace a little safer:) I love your drawings.
wow, well drawn. I like the ambivalence of the girls' expressions - and all the ambiguity and surprises of the dress necklines. It begs a story (which is a great thing for a surrealist image!)
These illustrations are amazing, Dollproject! I love the details in the hair and clothing and it contrasts so nicely with the juicy fruit. And nice placement on the trajectory of the arrows. They look like they'll just miss hitting these dames in the noggins. Beautiful job, and good luck!
Thank you for the support and kind comments decobot, kdl, pattyloniger and sparegus! :] I had fun making them! Especially the fruit. I don't know what I will do with the plastic fruits now. Maybe use them in a collage...
this is so beautiful!
I see artistic talent runs in the family, superb illustrations! I especially like the faux-bois hair, and the way you made the fruit so dynamic with color against the line art ladies.
This is great! I love the hand done mediums. You did a wonderful job unifying them with the fruity focal points still standing out. The girls are very cute, but I wouldn't want to be one.
