This design has a pocket on the inside and two sturdy handles that make it strong enough for a trip to the market. Interfacing (I would suggest medium weight) can be ironed to the backside of the outer 2 pieces and to the bottom, as well as to the straps, in order to get an even tougher bag. I put this design into my "Catherine's Garden" collection because certain elements (like the Robins and the speckled eggs) also exist in that collection. The finished tote will be approximately 12" deep by 14" wide. Use 1/2 inch seams except where otherwise specified in the directions.
