I've always liked designing patterns. I use my own when designing stationery and my artworks. I'm thrilled to be able to print those designs on fabric too as I love to sew. I hope you'll like my designs too and you get inspired to make something too

This design is so wonderful and all the birds are free! Excellent work, Shiny!
Thanks Jillian (a bit belated thanks)
And yes tallulah, I'm sure it will. The only thing is that I ordered both designs (my daughter's and mine) and I made that bag without any pattern, just on the go. In the end I was lucky to have exactly what it takes to make that bag. Nothing of the fabric left :) I don't order much, since shipping and import duty to Italy is so expensive! :)

I love the very light, airy feeling, so delicate and happy. And it does look lovely on the inside of that bag, but I hope you'll find a more prominent place for it as well!
Really cute! So many textures, but it all looks so soft and calm. I think I am just imagining gourds everywhere now, but I thought this was your gourd entry at first :).

Thanks for the compliments Rhonda. Yes I'm always a bit torn with birdcages. I love the look of them, but I don't like the idea they are used for. So whenever I draw them, I always make sure to leave the door open :)
These little birds are delightful. The open doors make the bird cages look more like little homes than places of confinement. In fact, it looks as though a lot of tweety socialising is happening! Lovely soft colours which look great in your project image.
