I drew this Fawn Lily after taking a biological illustration class at the Oregon coast. It was done with India ink and a crow-quill pen.___
These native true lilies, Erythronium oreganum, grew wild in the wooded yard of a house I lived in in Eugene. They are called fawn lilies because of the dappled color of the leaves. ___
Now I have colored it in Photoshop, and given it the background texture of the letter paper I had printed it on.___
It has the look of antique botanical illustrations.
