ksteve says: Ha-funny! I think I will hang up a copy of your fabric description over my sink of dishes, maybe someone will wash them! Very nice fabric once again!

tallulahdahling says: Cean, you are so punny! Wonderful, as usual.

victori...

victorialasher says: It was hardly glaring, the repeat issue that is, the Djinn is a different matter. I'd say the lizard looks a little concerned.

ceanirm...

ceanirminger says: I wish I had a genie to give to each of you as thanks for your sweet comments. I finally fixed the glaring issue with the repeat, so now it flows a bit better and I like it a teensie bit more.

sammyk

sammyk says: What can I say? I hate dusting and cleaning, but this pattern would easily convert me into a polishing fool. If only lovely genies like these would emerge from the living room lampshade. Wonderful jewel tones and expressions! Makes me think there should be one of those beach metal detector thingies invented specifically for finding these gems; great take on the desert theme!

lulakiti

lulakiti says: How do you draw something with such a fabulous repeat? I can't wrap my mind around and I have no idea how anyone does this! Is there a trick to it? Or just painstaking lining up of drawings?

ceanirm...

ceanirminger says: You got me, inscribed_here. There are only 11 visible bottles. The rest are under the sand, waiting to be rubbed by subteranean creepy crawlies. Thank you for all of your nice comments, everyone. This was literally an eleventh hour entry and I wish I had spent a bit more time, but... As for lizard wishes, I think there may be a giant pile of scarab beetles soon to come.

inscrib...

inscribed_here says: Brilliant and punny as usual. I can't see 99 bottles though so I guess the rest must have invisibility potion in them as well as the Djinn.
