Oh Susan - thanks so much for your fabulous description! And for some more art education as I really enjoyed looking up Charles Demuth, and his "I Saw the Figure 5 in Gold", 1928, Metropolitan Museum of Art... and I can see what you mean (I'm keen to try more now - esp. exploring depth - which he uses so well), thanks so much - made my day!

POP! Really eye-catching design. Kuba meets Charles Demuth, reminiscent of his "I Saw the Figure 5 in Gold", 1928, Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Thanks very much for your lovely comments Boo! It could have done with that extra vote - and I do appreciate it in absentia!
This is great Su! I missed the contest completely... Mores the pity, I would have definitely given you a vote for this striking design. Looks wonderful & I love the colours and textures.

Please do Deborah! It's so nice to know that there's someone who also likes the contrast of browns and blues!
I need to show this design to my daughter. She likes blues and browns and it has a wonderful modern feel to it.
Thanks so much for your lovely comment Melanie - very much appreciated!

This is lovely, Su! Quite different!
Thanks so much Angela and Sylvie - and all the other people who gave this one faves! Cool Austin Powers wellies seems to have developed a theme here! I guess that means mini skirts and plastic macs... I think the mockup could be eye-blasting!!
I've just read the rest of the comments... hahahaha seems I'm not alone in the thoughts I stated below.. LOL Way to go Su!
Every time I see these.. and I keep coming back..hehe I think '' hey baby, you're real cool baby!'' What's his name.... drat I just can't remember... wait oh yes.. Austin Powers... oh Yeah! Real Cool Baby! hehe pinned this to the Fabrics - Beige, Fawn, Tan board :-)
Cool version of wellies
Thanks for your fab comment Paula - much appreciated!
Love your fab and groovy retro boots, super design!
Thanks so much Amy and Shirley for your lovely creative comments (thinking of "uber-mod coolness") and faves, very much appreciated!
Such a strong graphic design. This can't be described as anything but fabulous much as I was searching for another superlative. Well done Su!!! Love it.
Su, this is just fabulous......so much uber-mod coolness here!!!!
Thank you so much Rhonda, Penny and Pat for your great comments... chameleon boots... 60s Austin Powers... 60s Scandinavian... I am honoured! Thanks too for sharing your great idea for another colorway Penny - so helpful & much appreciated!
Su, this reminds me of the great 60s designs that came out of Scandinavia...love the power!
What a fabulous design Su, great colors, reminds me of the sixties, would also be great in red, black, grey and white, then they would be Austin Powers style go go boots
These stylish boots make a splendid design! The way the patterns on the boots are enmeshed with the background gives an intriguing feeling of transparency to them... or maybe they have an element of chameleon-like camouflage on their surface!;-)
Thanks so much Sylvie, Lisa, Melanie and Victoria for your lovely comments and oh-so-helpful feedback! Looks like Ceri's wonderful interpretation of the 'glass' effect is hitting a chord... it's so helpful to have clever others who see the things I don't!! Thanks again all, much appreciated!
I love the color palette and I LOVE the "glass effect"!! Great work, Su!!
Love this design and your whole collection is fantastic. Love the colours and texture!
I also love this colour palette! (Wish I had a pair of wellies this pretty.) Great job on the collection.
Hi Su, I agree with Ceri, that thought went through my mind too that they were reflecting and magnifying the background.. hehe I really like it and you'll get a vote from me :-)
Thank you all so much, Susan, Vo, Alex, Jill, Shelly, Ceri and Tina - so lovely to read your comments and feedback this morning! I'm so pleased you feel the palette works - blues+browns are a favorite of mine. Ceri your imagination knows no bounds - glass wellies?
Wow, such a big impact! I love the bold shapes with the black neutrals and blue! Wonderful collection!
What gorgeous, stylish wellies Su! They look like they're made of glass and are magnifying the wonderful patterns behind. Maybe they belong to Cinderella and she wears them for a spot of glamorous gardening?
Wow, what a cool collection! Neat style and gorgeous color palette.
Great boots and fab design!
Power boots! Fun :o)
Love those textures and the palette! Fun design.
I love this one. Full of punch, play and power!
