So Nice and lively! Together with your description you can really get the vue.
It's lovely to hear from you, Cindy. I'm thrilled that you have been inspired to make a cushion for your home with my Ramblin' Desert Pea design. Thanks so much for the fantastic comment :-)
Oh, this reminds me of home. I live in Canada now and miss Oz very much! I will be whipping this into a cushion for our home. I love the uniqueness and rarity of this dessert bloom.
Thanks for noticing and commenting on my Desert Pea, Amy. Much appreciated :)

I love how you have used these weird and wonderful flowers in your design. The printed fabric looks great too.
Thanks. I'm thrilled with how well this design printed but I found it difficult to take a photo that did it justice.
The fabric photo looks great!
Ramblin' Desert Pea is printed here on Spoonflower's quilting weight cotton at my preferred scale for this design - 360dpi.

Thanks so much for looking and commenting. I wondered if these flowers might be a little odd for some people but went ahead with this design anyway. They are always the first thing that comes to my mind when I think of the desert.
Thanks so much everyone for all your wonderful comments. I'm so glad you find my freaky flowers fascinating. I wanted to do something a little different for this theme and I guess I have!

Cean, I think of them as the bikers of Australian wildflower. The old man banksia cone is from a tough rival club. Nature is stranger than anything we can think up.

I added a link in the sidebar to the wiki page for this plant for anyone who is interested.
fantastic design...every ingredient is perfect.

Oh, my goodness this is awesome. Beautifully done! I can easily imagine it as a great wallpaper pattern too. Nice combo of retro and modern. Your cream tone is yummy too!
i've never even heard of these flowers. They look amazing, like strange aliens or sea creatures! Your colors are lovely, to boot! Best of luck and thanks for adding a member to my "natural occuring creatures that look like they've been designed by Jim Henson" collection.
Really pretty! I love how different everyone's are for this one. I'm learning so much about the desert! :)
Really beautiful color and movement in this! What an interesting plant. I like your description of it too.
ooh yes, i really like this, lovely illustration and i really love the twisty, turny, scramblingness of it, and bursts of red! great repeat too!
Thanks so much, Kris.
... it's just wonderful to see an Aussie Sturt's Desert Pea fabric design : Best of luck if you are entering this in the upcoming SF desert contest ;)
