What a blast this design is.....you totally nailed the contest theme!

Haha! It's a wonder we survived to adulthood! I once mixed Draino and bleach "in the name of science" and dissolved the seat cover on my mom's vanity chair. Lord knows what kind of toxic fumes I inhaled! Anyway, your design is beautifully done. The colors, layout, and motifs, all come together to make a perfect design for children's furnishings and clothing.
Your vibrant design is filled with eye-catching fun experiments. The images you have used are just the sort of things that capture the interest and imagination of enquiring young minds! They are also the things that make mothers worry when said young minds set out to explore the possibilities of these elements!
Thanks, Eleanor. Almost didn't enter, then it struck me. I am always scared of what kids will put in a science fair. Half of them grab whatever they can find (including mom's eggbeaters) and throw it together without anyone understanding what they are up to. I read The Radioactive Boyscout about the time my youngest was busying himself in the basement at his dad's house trying his best to be a mad scientist. I asked my ex to check up on him and he found out the kid was on his way to glory and put a stop to the unsupervised experimentation. My brother and I had a full blown voltage generator that we used to hook beetles up to. Our mom wouldn't even come into the basement.
This is so cool. Great illustrations. I just had to zoom in and look at all the details. Would make great wrapping paper or fabric.
