Thank you so much, Julie, I'm so glad you stopped by to take a peek! :o)
Great illustrations Amy! He is a very scary monster and I like the background with the floating shadows!
Oh Pat, you are such an awesome cheerleader!!!! Thank you so very much, dear Pat!!!!!
LOL.....AMY G...you know i LOVE your work...i will add this to the love collection!!!!
You are so creative!
Thank you so much, Sue Ellen, it is funny how the scary monster in the bedroom seems to be a universal thing for kids everywhere. I'm glad that you still have all of your toes and that big, bad wolf did not get you!!!! :o)
Great illustration! I am glad that the worst monster in my bedroom was a wolf with pointy teeth ... however he did live behind a wall of shoeboxes at the foot of my bed, inside the sheets, so I had to wear socks to keep my toes from being eaten.
Thank you so much, Angela and Tara......Tara, I had to laugh about the jumping into bed, too funny....the just cracked me up!!!!! That is so clever telling the kids about the dogs protecting them, you smart mama , you! :o)
Your illustrations are amazing! Great work!
This reminds me when I was little how afraid I was that something would grab my foot from under my bed. I figured if I jumped into my bed about an arm's length away then it couldn't get me. I did that every night for at least a few years. My kids have since shared their fears to me and I've comforted them with the fact that our dogs would never let there be monsters under the bed so they need not worry about that. As always your illustrations are entertaining, brilliant and so funny Amy!
LOL, Su, that's funny.....thanks for taking a look!! :o)
Just the idea of this as bed sheets... forget about monsters UNDER the bed...
Hahahaaaa!! I'm pretty sure you are right, Rebel....although boys would probably love it! Thanks for taking a look Rebel! :o)
Great monsters Amy! You really used the colours well. I reckon if you made bed sheets out of this fabric for kids it would scare their socks off :)
Wren, that would be hysterical, I can hear the mom-to-be now......"Ah....gee, ......thanks....." heheeee! Thanks for taking a look, Wren! :o)
Relish the reactions from bringing a handmade quilt to a baby shower...
Thank you so much, Christine...a plushie might scare the kiddies too much LOL!!! :o)
What a cute little monster with that scalloped bodyshape! :) I admire your drawing abilities, the shading and line details! The background is amazing - showing the shadows of those creatures? And the repeat is also perfect! I bet this would make a bestselling cuddly plush-toy! ("Mommy, I WANT that!!") :o)
Thank you, Susan, we can strap a leash on him and use him for protection LOL!
Janiece, stuff like that is so scary as a kid, I once had that same experience with the doorknob on the bathroom door when I had chicken pox......totally morphing and moving....so weird!!!! I might put this one on Society 6 and see if I can resize for a t-shirt. Thanks for your lovely comments Janiece!
I don't want THIS guy under my bed but then, he looks kinda powerful so maybe I do want him there. Fabulously fun.
For me it was the handles on the kitchen cabinets morphing into evil faces. My childhood bedroom was really a dining room off the kitchen with a wide archway opening and no door. I didn't know it yet but I had bad eye sight and at night I'd freak out over the kitchen cabinet handles. Spent many nights with the covers pulled up over my head. Your monsters are so cool. Do you ever do tee shirts with them? They would be awesome.
Thank you, Charlotte, Shelly and Ceri....I'm so pleased you like my nightmarish little creature!
You are so creative, amazing imagination and superb execution.
I always can pick your amazing work it of a crowd, Amy. This one is spectacular!
The stuff of nightmares Amy! I don't think even a child could think up anything scarier, lol! Well done. x
Thank you so much, therustichome, Penny, Rhonda, Moira, Andrea and Sylvie for your great comments. I really appreciate you stopping by to take a look! :o)
Wow! Wicked claws and all! Great design!
He's a wild and crazy guy, I mean Monster!!!! Great design as always Amy
This is a terrific design, Amy! The multiple eyes, gaping toothy mouth and sharp cockatoo talons all add up to one very fearsome under-the-bed monster! I can imagine a deliciously scary bedtime story being told about this character. The tale would have to have a safe and happy ending of course!;-)
OMG - that is so scary! Such a strong image - hits you in the eye! Love it!
I am always excited to see what you imagine next! Love your designs!
Thank you so much, Tina....ever since I was a kid, I have always loved monsters and creatures. I guess I come by it naturally. thanks so much for taking the time to look, Tina! :o)
So we now know how look that terrible monster hidden under beds !...... Scary and fun ! Great take on the contest !
Your monsters are so great!!
