Chinese New Year 2014 is the Year of the Horse. Paper lanterns are hung, the dragon commonly seen in the Spring Festival dance is used to ward off evil spirits. The narcissus flower symbolizes prosperity and the plum blossom signifies luckiness. Mandarin translations: The lanterns (from left to right) say "horse" and "spring festival".
