This fabric is actually a photo collage of arranged beach trash that I have collected over the years on the beaches of Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. The Flotsam Project began on a stormy day in 2006. I use a variety of arrangements for my photos and they are lacquered onto very smooth, seamless boards.
