Fresh, Bright Faux Indian Kantha Embroidery Patchwork ( an entire collection including 8 other fabrics complete this family of fabric designs.)
Hello! My name is Jessie and I am a textile lover, collector, designer, archivist and historian. This is my first contest entry on Spoonflower, with many more to come, I very much hope! The contest restrictions instantly inspired my to create a family of Indian (West Bengal) Faux Kantha Embroidered Patchwork. What I had in mind, is to make fabric for people like us to buy and make a Kantha style "embroidered" patchwork quilt and other custom bedding easily. It was also created so that I can make a baby quilt for my best friend quickly, It needs to be done in a month! This faux embroidery patchwork should do the trick! What is available in the collection are many coordinating patchworks and repeats to mix and match, most of which are designed to be purchased as fat quarters, and a few are OK as continuous repeats. There is also 42" X 36" bias strip pattern in two colorways, all ready to cut, iron and sew without the measuring. The strips are about 3.5" wide and can be attached to one another for one long continuous strip for binding. Thanks so much for viewing. Happy sewing...

The way you used the colors (softly) is so appealing. Very Nice work!
