Design by Rhonda W. © 2014. This Charming Garden is filled with the fresh flowers of spring!
A fresh spring breeze makes the pretty flowers shimmer in the sunlight shining on this charming garden! This faux patchwork block is a perfect panel to use for cushions, tote-bags, table-mats or quilts. The tricky piecing is completed and the print is ready to be quilted! This is an original design by Rhonda W. © 2014.

Such pretty patterns on the different pieces! Reminds me of origami paper. I especially love the center design. I could see that on a kimono.
Also, props for being one of the only people who properly read the directions for the contest about the centering… I am embarrassed ^_^;
Love all the patterns, Rhonda!...and the quilt block is very nicely pieced together...reminds me of a 17th century French formal garden.

A beautiful and meticulously-crafted block, Rhonda! Your floral patterns throughout are lovely, and the interplay of the red and pink center florals is particularly well-orchestrated for a very dynamic focal point.

Someone is really going to have an advantage with you having done such a wonderful quilt block design. It has a charming antique look, while it would blend in well with any modern quilt you wanted to do. I can see purses made out of this too.

Thank you very much for the kind words and compliments, Moira and Su! Su, I'm glad you had a closer look via the swatch view. I found that the Quick Look function was also a good way to view the details of the design. :-)
Beautiful! Has to be looked at in the Swatch view to really get a sense of the intricate faux piecework and beautiful patterns - and I love the strong focal direction provided by the deep blue/purple pointing into and away from the center. Once again you show your mastery of geometry Rhonda!
Love this block Rhonda. The internal blocks all fit so beautifully together and that geometric border is brilliant!
I really appreciate your sweet comment and praise for my patchwork block design, Shirley! Thank you very much! :-)
This is such a professionally intricate design. I hope people realise this when voting. Excellent work.
Thank you very much for the wonderful comments, Dianne, Angel and Tina! Dianne, the quilter's mind that I worked from is my own ... I spend a lot of time thinking about, designing and manipulating fabrics for quilts. I know that piecing this quilt block is a challenge but quite doable as I have done it. The block itself is one I designed over 20 years ago for a class I was teaching, for my quilt guild, on "Piecing Perfect Points". Angel and Tina, I am glad that you noticed and like my floral print designs. I also wish that the fat quarter view was clear and not fuzzy! :-)
So lovely! I can really appreciate the beautiful prints in the swatch view because it's not fuzzy!
So pretty! I love all your florals, especially the yummy white on orange :)
This is a perfect cheater quilt, Rhonda! Looks like you jumped inside the quilter's mind on this one.
Thank you very much for your lovely comments, Julie and Lisa! :-)

So pretty, Rhonda! My mind can't wrap around how much math it must have taken to create this beauty! Gorgeous
