Fabulous useful work!
Thanks for your interest in my colour chart, modgirl23. I've sent you a private message outlining the procedure you need to follow to obtain the .ACO files.
Thanks for the great comments, Rhonda and Su!

I've now updated this chart to include the colours for the Butterfly themed restricted palette competition!
It's best to create your file in RGB when using this colour chart. I'm so glad you love it, thanks for commenting!
hi, love this thing! but one question. when we open up our artwork files with your palette, should our files be in a CYMK format or RGB? thanks!
Fantastic! So many people have trouble with reds so I thought it was a good idea to include an extra range of those. Thanks so much for the lovely comment, Erin.

You're positive comment is much appreciated, Cynthia. Thankyou! Yes, it was a lot of work, but the chart has become an essential tool. I'm so glad that others are also finding it useful.
I just received my color chart today and it's absolutely amazing! I am especially thrilled with the red and pink section, and the grays. Thank you for offering this amazing design tool! I'll be referring to it often from now on!
I received my color blanket a few days ago and I am so thrilled. You have done such a thourough job in presenting all the colors and I know that was a lot of hard work. I am really looking forward to working with it! Thank you so much for making it available to all of us!
Thanks for the positive feedback, studiofibonacci. I really appreciate it.
I can't say enough good things about this chart. The color chips are 1/2" square - so you can really see and compare colors. Each color has the hex code for that color. Plus a separate palette area for each of the limited-palette contests to date. And the ting that trips me up all the time -- all the reds in one area so you can see what's really red. Sweet!
Thanks for the wonderful comment! I've just sent the link to you in a private message.
I am so excited to see someone has done such a great job of creating an ACO colour chart? Thanks so much for sharing. I have just ordered the chart on quilting weight. Please can I request a link to the ACO file? Thanks heaps
Thanks for commenting, rengal.
This is a pretty brilliant idea.
I've updated my colour chart for December, 2010. The colours for Spoonflower's Large-Scale Botanicals competition are now included in the Restricted Palettes section.
Thanks for commenting, Kelly. I do find it very useful.
Such a handy tool! I must get around to ordering this one of these days.

Thanks Joanne. It was a lot of work - I spent more hours on this than on many of my designs - but I feel it was well worth it. It has ultimately saved me money because it helps me to choose colours before I send them to print. Of course designs sometimes still need tweaking but not nearly so often due to colour.
