Fabric design is definitely not my strong point as an artist, but I keep on trying! I am so inspired by all the other talented people on here. My main interest, in my own work, is in adult-leaning but child inspired designs. I aim to be silly.

Well, it was a good idea originally... but I really needed it to be lined to make it what I wanted but of course that would not fit in a yard. I tormented myself with ideas for other aprons and eventually gave up on the apron contest altogether. But at the VERY LAST MINUTE... I couldn't help myself and threw together my original idea for all to see. I just wanted to be part of the contest fun! :)
Holy cow! This design came in 15th in the contest! I'm amazed! Thank to everyone who voted for it - this is the best I've ever done in a contest. Go figure it is one of my least favorite designs. :)

Thanks, decobot! :) I am looking forward to getting and making this pattern to see if it actually turns out. I'll definitely be offering it for sale here (though I may tweak it a bit since I am no longer down to the last minute!). :)
My daughter would love this! It would be cute with two of them tied into a full skirt too. Great that you got it in last minute!
Thanks, Ms. Winner Lady! ;)
Very, very cute! Very nice job, even if it was last minute!
Thank you both!
it so cute
I love it, and I have two daughters who would love to wear them as they frolic as fairy princesses!
Aw shucks! Thanks guys! I am disappointed in it because I know I could have done it better if I had actually given myself more time but at least I got it on here! It really should be lined though - would make it much better - and also reversible! I guess if one got 2 patterns and sewed them together, that would work. :)
this is lovely lulakiti, really pretty and a fantastic idea, well done and good luck to you!!
Wow, you do great last minute work! This is super cute. I might have to get one for my daughters/my dress up closet. (why can't I grow up?)
Really cute! Love your colors, too.
So cute! Gee, I wish I were more girly - it's such a cute flower to wear.
This is cute, and different; good idea!
