sef

sef says: But really I think your pattern has a three-ness to it vertically which you could use instead. Then each of the 3 central colours would repeat in the alternating stripe on a diamond orientation rather than forming its own zigzag. So many choices ...

sef

sef says: Well, arguably the pale cyan blue belongs beyond the dark blue-green in rainbow order. So that would put it and the pale lime-green as the end colours which alternate in taking up the central role while the mid-green and dark green fit between them.

su_g says: Yes - that's about what I was thinking... having another look, I'm not sure I like the dark green being so dominant either... I will have a play and see how it looks once the outlining is changed... this is a side benefit of seeing all your different explorations of the palettes!

sef

sef says: As you said, you probably could make a difference to this by double (or gradient) edging it in the yellow and brown and shifting the pale green into the yellow's position to put the pale blue in as the last of those 4.
