I would prefer the colorful cheater cloth on white (if it's not too late). If it is - I can live with the blue. Thank You!! - Nanette

Kilt_ok - Yes, you can use this for longarm practice! Simply purchase 3 yards and load it as one solid piece into your longarm. You can then work across the blocks in rows, and also get practice stitching in the space between the blocks.

How many blocks in one yard of fabric?
Hi fthreewit - Yes the block printed on this fabric are the same blocks in the Building Blocks Quilt Pattern. To get all 42 blocks, just order 3 yards of the fabric.
Are the blocks the same as the blocks in the book? I have ordered and am anxious to get started with this fabric as my guide.
First of all, i have NOT been paid to say this..........Unless you have already tried to buy, cut and mark your own fabric, you cant appreciate how paying $18 a yard MAKES sense! I'm VERY cost conscious and you will save yourself a lot of aggregation AND $$ if you buy this cheater fabric. I ha ve been machine piecing about 10 years and trying to learn how to machine quilt about 2 years. Its hard and I have yet to find anything that compares to what Leah is doing here. Take it from me and do yourself a favor........give yourself this gift and not get yourself so frustrated right off the bat by trying to buy, cut, mark etc..... That you want to quit even before you get started! INVEST in yourself and accomplish what quilting is meant to be.......ENJOYED:)
HOPE THIS HELPS SOMEONE MAKE A DECISION DHE DESERVES:)
To get all 42 blocks for the Building Blocks Quilt, you will need to purchase 3 yards of this fabric. Make sure to cut out the blocks leaving 1 inch of extra fabric all around so you have something to hang on to while free motion quilting.
