I created this garden with my daughter in mind. It is somewhere for her dolls to take fancy strolls when they need to get out of the confinements of the doll house. It would look great embellished with bead or ribbon flowers too, as long as it is for someone who doesn't try to eat them. Designed for 1 yard.

frankandrox says: This is such a beautiful play mat. I think it turned out great with a few little additions: button frogs, and others, flowers that button on and off and some fish in the water

jellyfishearth says: Very cute! I love the idea of using this for dolls needing to play outside! =) I love the different details you included...like using different coordinating fabric patterns within each section and breaking up the design with the consistent stone path...very true to the art of quilting!

weaving...

weavingmajor says: congrats! this really is lovely. Love the colors and patterns you've chosen, and like Patty says the asymmetricality of it - but well balanced! so glad you placed in the top ten - this definitely is a winner.

jillian...

jillianmorris says: Thanks! Yep Victoria, no watering, but maybe some washing jelly fingerprints off. Those hard to look at entries probably look a lot better at the proper yard size. It is really different seeing designs actually printed out and huge!

ms_corona says: I voted for this one! Its very soothing to look at where some entries are hard to look at -but I voted for that psycho-delic-o-drama mushroom'n flash back too!
