soft pink large floral against a mottled and muted blue and green background. Pretty, but the flower size makes it bold.

There is also an organic cotton sateen which has a nice shine and a very even weave. Light and a nice movement, but a cleaner finish than some of the cottons. The colors tend to be brighter on the sateen. I think you can return them if you decide the fabric is all wrong.

The plain combed cotton is a fairly thin, basic fabric. The Kona cotton is thicker and has a bit of a sheen. I think both will tend to tone down the colors a bit, but the basic cotton will tone them down more. If transparency and light control is an issue, both are transulcent but the basic combed cotton lets a bit more light through.
Thank you so much nerdlypainter! I have ordered this fabric for my pillows and one set of curtains for my cottage on Martha's Vineyard! Can't wait to get it!
One more question: I am also thinking of making a window cover for an indoor window between kitchen and dining room. When I get the fabric I am going to hold it up in the place I would put it to make sure it wouldn't bee too bold. Would you recommend the basic cotton if I decide to do this?
Thanks again for such beautiful fabric! Lily Pad
For durability I would look at the Canvas type fabrics, the satin or the faux suede. (pillows). The cotton sateen is a nice weight fabric, soft and supple with a nice sheen and it takes the colors well. The basic cotton is thin and tends to mute colors, but might be a light choice for drapes.
Hello, I love your water lily design. What would the best fabric be for pillows? for curtains or other window covers? Thanks so much. Nancy
Thanks Victoria. By the way, I used free GIMP image editing software to generate the repeat. Under filters --> Map they have an option called "Make seamless" which blends repeats automatically. It works really well for softer images and colors, but tends to wash out high contrast patterns.

Thanks Amy. Waterlily is from a small oil painting that I did when I was on a bit of a lotus kick.
So absolutely gorgeous!!!!
Gorgeous painting; and well done blending it into a repeat.
Thanks - voluptuous, huh?
Yes, pretty and bold. Gorgeous!
I adore this! The colors, the mood, the voluptuous flowers...gorgeous!
Somptuous painting !
