Description: If this isn't the ugliest Christmas sweater design you've ever seen, then my hat goes off the whomever designed the one that beat it! 'Twas a month before Christmas And all through Spoonflower Designers were given A really strange power. The site's weekly contest Asked who was better At designing a truly Ugly Christmas sweater. The "Loud and Proud" maker Just cackled with glee! He said, "I can win this! Just watch me! You'll see!" He worked with Picmonkey With all he could find And gave it bright colors From his twisted mind. He foresaw eyes bleeding And brains nigh exploding, And all with no hint Of remorse or foreboding. He knew his design Would show he was the master Of challenges given To create a disaster! So submitting his swatch And bidding good night: "Merry Christmas to all -- May it give you a fright!" PS: Should you actually choose to make a sweater (or, more likely, a sweater-like pullover) from this fabric, I recommend using it for the body only, and something red and green (stripes, checks, polka dots -- perhaps even another "ugly sweater" contest entry) for the sleeves.

bobgreenwade says: Go ahead and buy a couple of yards (once it's officially available)! It might make for a fun Christmas garment, especially if you can find some good red-and-green stripes or checks for the sleeves.

su_g says: Hilariously hideous! And if the design didn't make me laugh, reading your note and extended description certainly did... I hesitate to 'fave' this (as I might end up up accidentally buying it...) but just had to reward such wonderfully bad taste (hope you take all these comments in the spirit of shocked (s)admiration in which they were made... this contest is truly going to be a doozy!)

bobgreenwade says: Thanks, Rhonda! I hope I can make the fabric actually available before too long (I have a *bunch* of patterns right now waiting on that, and no cash on hand to get the approval swatches.)

rhondadesigns says: Wow! This jumble of festive season motifs would certainly shout it's cheer-filled message in a loud voice if it was stitched up as a holiday sweater! Your descriptive verse is the icing on the design's Christmas cake!
