Description
This design should be viewed as a mirror repeat. This apron is soooo cute and easy to whip up it barely needs instructions! Made to look like a cute summer sundress, it has been designed to slightly flare out at the sides for twirling and dancing around the kitchen. Just cut out the main part, fold over a small allowance and sew. Do the same for the rectangles and then attach them to the sides and top of apron. Two side pockets can be sewn over the flowers (which match up identically) and there is even a white top pocket if you need lots of pockets! The green rectangle is extra and can be made into a headband or any other accessory. There are also 10 little toadstools that are perfect for making 1" buttons to add if you desire. Extra poppies and ladybugs too to add to this or any other kitchen project. Along the top there is even a row of ladybugs and apples that you can make into a ribbon or.... well, your imagination is the limit! If you need a smaller sized apron just cut the sides shorter - it's very versatile. This apron was designed to fit on yard of quilting weight for the Apron Contest but I have another version made for Upholstery Weight (which may be better for a heavy-duty apron). As an added bonus, the Upholstery Weight version has oven mitts and even more notions for accessories:)
