This Fabric is a part of my Aurora Borealis series. Every star in one yard of cotton fabric is different.
I designed this fabric using a photograph of the Northern Lights that my brother took outside of Fairbanks in Alaska. My goal is to make him a quilt using this fabric, so he and his wife can cuddle under the northern lights.
This fabric would make great stand alone quilt blocks or mug rugs. You can also leave it uncut and use it as a cheater quilt. It turns out really great as gift wrap and would make unusual wallpaper. Applied to a ceiling, it would create an amazing effect.
For color like you see in the image, I highly recommend having this fabric printed in either basic cotton ultra or silky faille. Printing with regular basic cotton process yields slightly muted colors.
