My nod to the Academy Award winning 1948 movie, "The Naked City," a black and white film noir movie. See details
The movie "The Naked City" ends with "There are eight million stories in this city; this has been one of them." The line has also been attributed to that wittiest of wits, Dorothy Parker. Most recently used in the 1990 film, "Metropolitan," and even in Jay-Z's "Empire State of Mind."

Every time I look into this design I find more stories being hinted at in the subtle suggestion of images hiding in the background. It is a design that can always draw you in, to ponder about the elements it contains. It would be a great print for upholstery and would look stunning as drapes on windows of a high-rise apartment that had a view of the city skyline!
Love this design, Deborah!

So cool, Deborah, and I enjoyed the background story behind the design!
