The proofs on this one came back absolutely gorgeous - crisp graphics with clear contrast. I tried to find individual medieval elements that could best illustrate the eternal tug of war between Faith and Doubt. One of the things that fascinates me about the Middle Ages is that while faith and fealty were considered an absolute duty to God and your lord, a man will always be master of his own thoughts. That is where doubt can creep in. Fingers will point, debates will rage, books will be devoured, wars will be fought, and in the end it is the individual's decision to believe, or not. 'Faith is believing in things when common sense tells you not to.' That energy of belief can destroy or transform.
