Now, don't get me wrong, I love Tink. Shes brave, resourceful, articulate and a great role model, however her wardrobe leaves ('scuse the pun!!) a lot to be desired as the mother of a three year old aspiring tinker fairy. How does she manage to work with her butt hanging out all day and as for the cleavage... well!!
This costume is easy peasy to put together. It fits a yard of fabric, but obviously I can resize for larger sizes.
The front top panels have a slight slope to indicate a chest without being too obvious, and the trousers sew neatly together.
Your little fairy can be a beautiful heroine, without exposing herself at all.
You may like to add a little elastic in the waist, to give a bit of shape, and don't forget the Velcro back so they can get in and out of it themselves.
Happy dress-up to all the little people, be they elfs, pixies, santa's helpers or even leprecauns on St Patricks day. You will be glad you took an hour to make this.
Jazz it up with wings, trim, or other embellishments to suit your occasion.
Thanks for looking.
Happy sewing xx
