Although the two blues are quite close together (or only have a subtle difference) I was very pleased with how they printed - see the 3rd thumbnail above (double click for a clearer view).

I missed this contest as I was away from Spoonflower for a bit, but this is an incredible design! I love everything about it.
Thanks so much Tina for having a look at this, I was so happy with how this printed - I just love it when something a bit difficult color-wise works out!

The subtle differences in the blues looks great! I love the way it printed!
The two blues are quite close together (or only have a subtle difference) but I was very pleased with how they printed, also the pale gray which has a hint of pink in it. Swatch printed on basic combed cotton (daylight photo).

Reloading broken link: Shoe mockup
Thanks for the design love Deborah and for that word "classy" for my mockup!! Very much appreciated!

Love this design, Su, and your mockup is so classy. Well done.
Thanks for your lovely comments Rhonda and Sheila! So glad you like the pattern Rhonda (mistress of geometrics!) - a high compliment indeed! And Sheila thanks for admiring the mockup - it was fun to do!
Great design Su, and great mock up!
Your design looks stunning, Su! The classic red white and blue colourway has been given a brave new look with this impressive Art Deco pattern!
Thanks so much for your great feedback Tina, much appreciated!
Gorgeous design! Looks incredible on the shoe!
Thanks Boo and Cal!! Not sure I actually 'mastered' the shoe, but it was fun deciding on a red sole and to have the design in a different direction on the heel as opposed to the body of the shoe. Still, I don't think any shoe-makers are going to come beating on my door!
What a great design Su! And it seems you mastered the shoe mock up as well...bravo!
It's so interesting how this design takes shape and follows the flow of the shoe...beautiful.
Fantastic stuff Su, love your design and your shoe! Good luck in the contest this week!
Thanks so much Ceri, Victoria, Amy, Alex, Lucy and Jill for your wonderful comments and feedback - reading these makes for a great start to my day!! Ceri I really like your ideas for dressing with this shoe (up or down), thanks for that! Doing the mockup was a real learning experience for me but it sure does tell you a lot about what scale works (and what doesn't)! I hope I've got it right-ish...
Looks fantastic on the mock up! Love it:)
too much !!! LOVE it !
It is bold and fun! Great name too!!
Oh, Su, I love it! What a bold and dashing design....and your mock up is awesome!!!! :o)
I love it , Su!!
Lovely Su! The red, white and blue is such a smart and timeless colour combination. I can see this design teamed with a crisp white linen dress OR dressed down with jeans.
