dear, can I have this design with mauve color

Yeah, I looked at all of those, and of course they're very well done, but they don't have quite the "woven path" effect that this one gives. (Basically I'm trying to give a Greek key feel to a Kagome lattice.)

The hexagon edge star with the next level of crossings for constraining the weave in the same way is merely the same as a triple cell version of the semi-regular hexagon and triangle grid - which is much simpler and probably widely available elsewhere. A lot of the polygon grids are closely related to each other in this way. Other than that, edge stars on the twisted hexagon and triangle grid have built in weave constraint. Whereas the hexagon square triangle grid has rather minimal bends on the remaining stars. Otherwise you'd be looking at going up to dodecagons (with a much larger central hole).
I've been looking around for something similar to this, but with hexagonss rather than octagons. You wouldn't happen to have anything like that lying around, would you? :)
