Oklahoma is known for its red earth. The red comes from the high iron content in the soil. The sky is everywhere like a gigantic inverted bowl.

Thank you, Sue Ellen. Turquoise is one of my favorite colors . . . it's such a beautiful earthly blue. I appreciate your taking a look at the design. Thank you.
I love the dimensional look of this design ... nice use of gradiants! This looks like a tray of turquoise jewelry!
Thanks for taking a look at the design, Janiece. Speaking of red dirt: the Oklahoma sky was full of it today -- farmers are planting wheat and everywhere we looked as we were driving home, clouds of red dirt drifted up into the sky.
Love these colors! The design is unique and does remind me of that red clay dirt.
Thanks so much, Su, Sylvie and Rhonda. "Small" is not an area I usually work in so it was a challenge for me to maintain a tiny design and once I got started, I had a lot of fun. You guys made my day. Thank you so much for taking a look at the design in the zoom view and thank you for your comments.
Your splendid design has an interesting 3-D sculptural look created by the echoing square shapes around the central motif. The rich colours of earth and sky look so beautiful together.
Yes Su's right! It looks great. I looked at the zoom view and saw that it was very evenly set up, yet when you look at the yard view you get a stunning textured fabric, looking like a woven tartan or plaid effect. Well done Deborah :-)
Wonderful colors! Was so glad I could get a close up look using the Zoom, as this is such a tiny design at the Swatch view.
