Thank you equuseditorial and sklater, (wow, I am really late on getting back to you, equuseditorial)!
The czarina is up for sale now and I'm going to upload a smaller version of this pattern as a fabric rather than a puppet soon! Thanks for your interest in this fanciest of felines.

I love Czarina Felina. Not for sale??

Thanks Debbiegirl! She is just drawn in ink and prismacolor marker and scanned in to photoshop where I did a little size manipulation. I'm as low-tech as you can get!

Thanks Cean, you're so lovely! I can't tell you how much I look forward to your contest entries every week <3
No oops! She definitely looks like she will work as a puppet; a leading lady as Claire suggested.
She is beautiful, I voted for your design!
Claire, you are too nice! I think your work is already awesome, adventurous, and super funky, in the best way! (dodo's, squids and sailor girls, oh my!) I'm a newbie here too, relatively, so I'm learning as I go, but I'm having the time of my life doing it! Thank you so much for your compliments, and good luck in all your fabric designing endeavors.
I had to go from the voting page to check your entry out properly, (those little views can lose so much detail) and I'm so glad I did! I love your illustrative style so much, she has so much character I'm sure it'd be easy to write a puppet show around her! I'm a newbie to making fabric, and I just want to say your work is so inspiring to me- makes me want to break out of my comfort zone and be more diverse and adventurous :)
Thanks Victoria! I tried to make her bi-usable (is that a word?) so she could be left open at the bottom for a puppet or closed for a doll. Looking at the other puppet patterns, though, I think I may have made her a bit too doll-like. Ooops.
Gorgeous! What beautiful colors; this would also make a nice doll/stuffed toy.
