Stack up the main pieces as kit diagram shows, outer right side down at base, then lining right side up. Next pouch linings right side down and pouch fronts right way up. Pin and tack layers on outside edge. Machine sew bias binding on to neaten the pouch opening edge, repeat on other pouch, full binding instructions on kit for this. An option is to attach velcro to these openings and have a central pen loop. Make the bunting teeth, place triangles print to print and machine sew 2 edges, turn right side out attach the open edges to matching binding, see kit diagram, strip of 3 each side. On main body, machine sew bias binding to all edges and sew the teeth strips on last, by hand if easier. As an option, use fusible interfacing to stiffen sections, maybe the teeth. As a result, you have a fun wallet style pencil/stationery case, doubling up as an animal mouth toy to enjoy.
