...when I was twelve I went up to London with my best friend Kit Fung Chung. Her Father worked at the Gallery Rendezvous in China town. It was Chinese New Year and after the staff had served dinner for the rich and famous guests, they prepared their own meal. We ate with them - in the kitchen - and we started with Dim Sum Goldfish floating in a clear soup with green noodles - and yes, they had peas for eyes!
here I have the empty dishes - notice there is still plenty of soy sauce left - there always is.
Such a shame the diners took the lacquered chop sticks with them.
