Thank you so much Kim, for the name of that quilt block "Card trick" - it is very similar and the same idea surely. I do like those quilting styles that play with light and dark - just looking at them gets the color wheels of the mind spinning in all sorts of directions!

Thanks so much Deborah for your lovely comment and for having a look at it in yardage where it does take on quite a different aspect. And Rhonda thanks for those further thoughts - you just brought it to life for me as "a panel around a vanity area in a bathroom" - that is such a great idea, I can really see it!
Ha ! I tracked down the quilt block. It is called " Card Trick ". This would make a great "cheater quilt" ( I always hated that term. Anyone who quilts definitely knows there is no cheating the hard work. } Anyway, a variation with a larger block anywhere from 4-6 inches would be perfect.
I agree, Su, that a whole wall in the wallpaper might be a bit overwhelming, but a panel around a vanity area in a bathroom would add a splash of sparkly colour and go with a clean, crisp look.
Wonderful design, Su. I looked at it in yardage and it takes on a whole different look. So pretty.
Thanks so much Rhonda, Susan and Kim for your comments and helpful feedback. I don't know Rhonda - I looked at it in Wallpaper and thought it would be a bit much, but maybe some brave soul feels differently! Susan, I love the Emma Peele reference! Kim if you do recall the name of that quilting block please let me know, I am having the same problem!
Very mon indeed ! It also reminds me of a quilting block but the name escapes me at the moment. Beautiful colors !
This design would stand out in the crepe de chine. Very Emma Peele, in a great way.
This sharp geometric design makes me think of shiny glass tiles that have been made into a feature wall to add a touch of cool colour to a contemporary decor! It would make an eye-catching wallpapered feature panel,Su!
