Police box-inspired tote bag sewing kit. Instructions are on the fabric. Easy to make! Finished bag is around 14 x 14.5. One yard = one bag.
It's bigger on the inside in a wibbly-wobbly sort of way.
The outside of the bag is the Police Telephone information sign on one side and police box-style windows on the other. The straps are the Police Box sign. Lining is a pretty black and white floral swirl pattern. Coin pouch has the St. John Ambulance logo.
The whiteness of your white depends on the fabric base chosen. The whitest whites are the poplin, sateen, and twill. The rest are varying degrees of off-white.
The richness of the blacks also depends on the fabric base. The polyesters (silky faille and the performance knit) provide the closest to true black. (Sample fabric image shows one of the polyesters.) Cotton poplin is the closest to black of the cottons. The rest will print closer to charcoal gray or "off-black."
If in doubt, order a test swatch.

So very clever and well done!
I recommend the cotton twill or the cotton poplin. Both produce good blacks and are true whites.
The cotton twill is good if you want it to be super sturdy, as this fabric is quite thick. However, since there are a few places where you will be sewing several layers of fabric together, make sure you use a heavy duty needle.
The poplin is fine if it's for normal everyday use. Though this fabric is not as thick as the twill, because everything is at least two layers thick (the bag has both an outside and a lining) it still works just fine. And then you don't have to worry about your needle breaking when you sew it.
Which fabric do you recommend for this project?
Each panel of windows (6 window panes) is about 3.5" x 4".
The St. John's Ambulance emblem is 3.75" in diameter.
The white Police Box sign is about 9.5" x 11.75"
The letters of the black Police Public Call Box sign are about 1" x 10.5", not including the black area surrounding them, just from the first P to the last X and the top and bottom of the letters themselves.
Colors are as pictured in the photo, but depend on your monitor settings as well as which type of fabric you choose. In particular, blacks can be much less rich on many of the fabric bases. I do use the same blue on all my Doctor Who fabrics, and a test swatch is the best way to see how the colors will turn out on a particular fabric type.
Re: the tardis inspired tote bag…I will use your logos for another project.
Please let me know the measurements of: St John's, Police Phone, Police Box, and the windows.
Please also let me know if the colors are the same as shown in the photo: black Phone Box ,blue window.
