These designs are derived from vintage carved wooden fabric stamps from Japan, (probably carved in India). The stamps have white fabric ink on them.
Because they are derived from hand-carved stamps, they have an organic, asymmetric, hand-made look.
This is an indigo and white fabric, like classic Japanese fabrics. Try it on the linen-cotton fabric for a yukata or an oriental-style jacket, cushions or curtains. Other colors in this collection include a dark bluegreen textured background, and a medium bluegreen texture, with white.
There are several different layouts. Reverse colors are available.
This version has a close, overlapping array of the white trees. White on textured indigo blue.
