Yeah I think when I ordered this I just got the basic cotton and I was super disappointed in it. Very poor color saturation and just shows wrinkles like anything. It was my first order from Spoonflower and I didn't find this link that discussed the fabrics, and needing a fair amount of yards for the project, I just went with the cheapest. That was a very very expensive mistake.

Unfortunately it's a fabric that Spoonflower no longer offers, which is so sad because it was my absolute FAVORITE. But at least from my experience, I've found the non-cottons produce the richest colors. But cotton sateen has a really nice sheen to it.

What kind of fabric is the pictured finished skirt in? It's perfect!

Do you have an image of a competed skirt? Thank You.
Is there a plain coordinating blue fabric? I wanted to make a top as well but for my purposes just need the plain blue fabric.

Yes, the police box band is on the fabric, but only if you order a yard.
There's 35" of the blue part of the fabric, then 6" of the police box band (it's 3" per "sign" and there are 2) and then 1" of skirt instructions. So you need a yard, which is 42" wide, to get the police box sign in there.

Is the black police box band on the fabric? I see it in one picture but it isn't in the others. I have an idea I would like to use it for!
Thanks! A bunch of mine did get the axe... but I reworked some to be "just under" the line and also added a bunch of new ideas based on what kinds of things I saw go bye bye and what didn't.
This is wonderful ! A perfect design for this skirt pattern. I am also happy for you that your tardis/Dr. Who inspired designs have missed the BBC ax so far ! Some of us weren't so lucky ! But now I want a skirt using this design ! AGAIN,A REAL STAND-OUT. Kim@krussimages
