I like to draw when I have time. That's not so often, though. I have three young children on the autism spectrum, one with a severe congenital heart defect. My husband is a programmer. Life is good, just... busy and intense.

What's scarier than brain-eating zombies? Face eating cupcakes, naturally. Cupocalypse! Coming soon as a physics based, retro style in-browser game!
I created the pixel art for this by hand on an ipad, first the sprites and the tiles in Sprite Something, and then arranging them in Pixelmator on a laptop.
This is the first concept art I'm making public for the retro-style game I'm developing.
Cupocalypse! will follow the adventures of Rok in a surreal, postapocalyptic future in which cupcakes are the ultimate villains. Rok will use any means necessary to vanquish the cupcakes and get revenge for the destruction of his family (and of his own face), all while avoiding greasy oven fires, balancing on sliding grates, wielding unlikely weapons, and restoring his energy with bacon.
Look out for Sir Monocake, Totesabaker, Pinkscream, and The Eyecake!
