weaving...

weavingmajor says: Aww, thanks, Jasmin! My sister and I didn't always have a lot of pocket change, and even when we did we didn't dare risk Dad's disapproval for wasting our money that way. But for a few years our local pizza shop gave us game tokens for our report cards - I think it was three for each 'A' grade and one for each 'B' - and we made good grades in most subjects, so twice a year my sister and I would burn 'Centipede' and 'Space Invaders' and 'Dig Dug' into our retinas!

ladyrattus says: Your description is brilliant, both nostalgic and relevant to the design. Gah, you know what I mean right? lol. :) I never had the money to play Space Invaders in the fish and chip shop... 20 cents was a lotta money! However these days I've overdone the gaming during some overnight benders enough to see 'pixels' floating before my eyes...plus having the 'hotkey twitches' and the odd involuntarily 'strafe lurch.'
