There was once a long-standing debate over whether all 4 hooves of a horse were off the ground simultaneously in a gallop or trot. In the Victorian era, the technology was finally developed which allowed Eadweard Muybridge
to settle the question once and for all. He went on to produce famous books from his photographs of animal motion.
This design features the type of horse snapshots which I imagine didn't make the cut - but in colour tinted form and with a tartan horse-blanket bias background. Other colours, stylings, sizes and orientations are available on request (eg 3 inch square units on larger sizes of fabric rather than the 2 inch which fits a swatch) and you can even ask for a combination of several designs together
