This looks a bit dull on the cotton but not as dull as the photo suggests - and not as bright as the artwork. I feel it would print better on the synthetic fabrics than cotton

Hi Rhonda - I'm so glad you found them!
Thank you for the lovely comments!

The boxy layered background is very appropriate as i have often found these elusively annoying chirpers hiding in such places! These lively critters make a lovely, cheerful design!
Thank you - Lisa and Kelly - for the lovely comments... I'm so very pleased that you like them.
The jpeg image is just an artwork enlargement to show the bugs in more detail - I haven't had the time to get swatches done on this one yet!
beautiful, beautiful colors, and I love the squares too!
How lovely, Moira! So smart to create this interesting boxy background for your cricket friends, This ditsy design looks fab using all 3 views, and your printed version shows wonderful color correlation to the digital version. Fantastic! Best of Luck!
A better size for viewing! Bigger bugs!
Thank you Pamela, I hadn't thought of ways to use t at all - it was as strictly for the contest thing but now I want to do something else with it! A scarf could be lovely! As for colours maybe neutrals like taupe with custard yellow and lavender... hmm...
Was just thinking how pretty this might be on silk. You could do it in different colors too, very easily.
Thank you Julie - really pleased you like them and the boxes... just made myself laugh - cricket boxes! Anyhow I momentarily thought of circles but decided the contrast of loosely drawn crickets against a boxed, graphic, back drop would be more fun and demonstrate how brilliant they are at blending in what ever the surroundings!
Great cricket design Moira! I love the squares in the background and the beautiful colour palette!

Thank you Paula, Pamela and Otttomanbrim - I'm really pleased you like my ditsy crickets and have left such lovely comments!
Really nice cricket design, totally ditsy and such gorgeous greens!
You got it! It's perfect!
Thank you Eleanor, Magenta and Pamela for the lovely and exceeding ego boosting comments!
PS: Pamela the dark bits have been shifted! All ditsy now - I hope!
ooh, these are nice, you've somehow made them realistic and cute at the same time - not easy to do with these critters. Fabulous background.
Lovely fresh and cute Crickets, almost camouflaged! Love all the shades of green too! It definitely fits the bill! :)
Thank you! I've been trying to isolate the vertical dark bits... I'll need to sort that out before we go live - contest wise and sample wise!
Oh - and it's fantastically ditsy too - but when I blow it up to a full yard there's a slight vertical alignment of two or three dark areas. If you could shift something a little where that is happening it would be completely ditsy.
The colors in this are absolutely gorgeous and your crickets are actually cute! Being one who's not exactly enamored of insects that's a lot for me to say. I like the tiny red eyes - really makes it pop!
