There is something romantic about the sound of the cricket's song that fills the night air.
There is something romantic about the sound of the cricket's song that fills the night air. Memories of good times with family and friends, enjoying nature and it's night time choir of crickets singing soprano and the bullfrogs on bass while friendly conversation takes on the role of tenor in a perfect symphony in the night time breeze. My uptown crickets are all dressed up and ready for a night at the outdoor opera house in my backyard.
This is my entry in the Spoonflower ditzy crickets fabric design contest. I hope you love it. I hope to have this on the market in time for the contest.

You have poured the essence of fantasy and romance into this wonderful whimsical design, Janiece! These debonair cricket characters have an air of glamour and glitz that makes them irresistible!
I absolutely love this!
Thank you Motyka and Sylvie. They are charming little bugs aren't they. I always played with crickets as a kid. I was totally fascinated with the fact that they sang their songs by rubbing their legs together. I even have a cricket wood block toy that when you rub the mallet over it it makes a cricket sound. Thanks for your very positive feedback.
This one is my Favourite by far! I totally love it and have faved it :-) Good luck in the contest!!!!!! ~ Sylvie
Fantastic! You've captured the complexity of the evening's serenade in a beautiful visual composition.
