Hi sydama, the hex colors are primarily #40e43e (bright) and #00b222 (darker) for the lime colors and the background is #fff33. I am sending out for proofs soon and will try a few different colors, see which actually prints best on fabric.
The interpretation of the topic citrus is very good and personal. I`m agree that the the colors maybe are a bit too "limy", but in the printed version maybe it will turn out bright and fresh. What kind of HEX codes have you been using here? I have the Spoonflower colormap big size at my desk.
I checked out the lemon version, and I agree with you: less 'pop.'
Yum... lime over lemon any day! Nice rendering on your zest spirals, and stylized just enough to be really flexible in use while still recognizable as limes. Very bright but very cool!
I finally got a lemon version I like up and ready to proof. Somehow they just don't pop as much as these tasty limes, though. Limes are such a part of summer for me.
Bright and zesty perfection!
Yes, it is a bit neon-green loud. :-) I'm working on a lemon version but was having trouble getting a yellow I liked, it kept looking muddy, but when I get it right, I'll upload it, too.
A great pattern!! So creative and potentially classic - would love to see it in some other colorways (I find these colors together rather overwhelming - I'd rather focus on the pattern!)
