Limited palette hand-drawn rococo design based on
“Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind, And therefore is winged Cupid painted blind.†Limited palette rococo design based on A Midsummer Night's Dream. This design tells the side story of Queen Titania queen of the fairies who is "taught a lesson" by her husband Oberon through his servant Puck. Puck makes a love potion from the flower Love-In-Idleness (pansies) and puts it on Titania's eyelids as she sleeps. She falls in love with the next thing she sees, which is bottom, a man with the head of a donkey. The design features Queen Titania, Puck, the Love Potion and Titania with Bottom. The rococo frames are covered in garlands of pansies (love-in-idleness) and tiny love potions. The background has stars and chains of leaves and lace.
