Thank you kindly for your wonderful comments, Penny and Tina! When I was a child, visiting the "Little House" at the bottom of the garden was often an adventure ... especially at night! We had a grapevine growing over an arbour that shaded the path leading to the outhouse. Green tree frogs found this to be a marvelous place to make their homes. I wasn't as worried about the frogs leaping onto my head as I was about the slithering legless creatures that hunted the frogs! Ribbit, ribbit, ribbit... rustle, SQUARK!!! Now THAT was a sound that sent shivers down my spine!!!

Rhonda, I love this artwork and your hilarious story behind it is priceless!!!! I love the tree frog sitting on the toilet seat......so funny!!!!!! You are so talented!
What a fun read, Rhonda! Love your illustration! It made me smile. -Tara
Thank you very much for the great comments, Victoria and Boo! I'm so glad that you can see the humour in my design! I grew up in an area where large green tree frogs were in plentiful supply. They would come out every night and hop, kerplop! kerplop!, across the roof. They would then attach themselves to the windows where they would feast upon the moths and mosquitoes that were attracted to the house lights. One particularly large one would sit like a sentry guarding the back door. My Mum tolerated him sitting there as he did dispatch many invading mozzies! ;-o)
Delightful Rhonda! Such an iconic Australian thing - the green tree frog in the loo! It happens at work regularly in the wet season ;-P Beautiful execution of a great idea. Please post a photo if you wallpaper the wall of your bathroom - such a fun idea!
Beautiful illustration AND so fun!!
Thanks for the positive feedback, Rebel! Not only do you have to beware of the frogs, you also have to watch out for the slithering reptiles that hunt the amphibians when visiting an Outback outhouse! ;-0)
Yep, we've had frogs popping up when least expected... Even in the indoor outhouse! Great idea, looks really good.

Thank you very much for your kind words and thoughtful suggestions, Motyka! I was actually thinking of having the design printed on wallpaper and using it on the inside of the bathroom door, to give the room an out-of-doors view! ;-o)
Oh what a fun design! I love your curious little froggies! What a creative space, I think this would make a very fun accent fabric in a rustic bathroom- shower curtains, hand towels, even wallpaper!
Thank you very much for the lovely comment, Penney! :-[)

Rhonda~ I love outhouses! I have sketched quite a few myself. I've also had experiences with the creatures that like to call them home! My encounters have been with mostly spiders in November during the hunting season. Great idea here ! You rock ! Dawn
This is very neat. I love it. Great.
This made me laugh until tears ran down my face!
Rhonda this is so funny and so beautifully illustrated!
This is delightfully funny and illustrated terrifically Rhonda!
LOL I had that close encounter when very young and eventually came to Canada but on a camping trip in Queensland I had further encounters which I can now fondly remember as being very funny. Thanks for bringing the memories back. You've done a great job here.
Too right Rhonda - and how charmingly illustrated and story told (I've certainly been there - nothing like a frog in the bowl to hasten your exit, at least I left the door on tho'!). This is a totally unique take and I hope it does well in the Contest!
What an amazing illustration, telling a humorous story that we can all relate to! Rhonda, your designs are certainly one of a kind!
