I like this for a quilt and also think it would make a terrific floor cloth, with a heavy canvas backing and some freehand stitching to link the two layers. I don't like frogs very much, but this design could make me change my mind.

such a fun design!
I love it !
I like this so much! :) well done!!
@rhondadesigns: I should also say, I was thinking of my 89 year old grandma when I set up the repeat. . . she likes to make baby quilts for all her great grand-children. She always uses whole pieces of cloth, one fun juvenile print for the top and a flannel for the bottom with a nice thick batting and then just ties the quilt together using the print as marks.
Here, she could use the lily to tie making a hexagon pattern or the frog as a marker to tie on (or next to) and she'd get a diamond pattern.
@rhondadesigns, thank you! I appreciate the feedback. And I agree with you on the yardage view. I think I'll switch the preview after the "frog contest" is over so you get a little more sense of the repeat.
The smiling frog and pretty flower details create lovely highlights amid the large lily pad dots. The yardage view is fantastic and shows how well-balanced the design layout is!
Thanks, weavingmajor and katieschrader! Glad you like it!
I love your simple shapes and color - but most of all that smug little frog! Well done.
This is such a sweet design. I love the repeat!
