I found a website which claimed that jelly roll strips are 2.5 inches wide. Presumably some of that width is lost in sewing - perhaps 1/4 inch each side. This would suggest that the 2" frog height is actually the correct one for showing up properly in a completed strip-based project. It's just that people would have to cut through alternate frog strips to leave the seam allowance and hence waste the section in the middle of each of those unless I reformatted the design to alternate the frog stripes with plain colour guide stripes for cutting - which would be quite easily done if someone wanted it.

Quilting isn't my thing, ditto whatever you're meant to do with jelly rolls, but the original file for this has the strips at 4 inches height. I've merely scaled them down at the moment.
Well I can see it being used in quilting if each strip was a little wider.. say 31/2 inches wide? That would give them space to sew and not lose too much of the design. Also I think it would be wide enough for Jelly rolls... I can't remember offhand how wide a Jelly Roll strip is... :-) I love it by the way, and will pin it to the pastels board on the Our Virtual Fabric Stash page. :-)
I like the striping that appears in the yardage view of this colourway. I think your idea of an integrated border/scene design sounds both beautiful and fun ... I look forward with pleasure to seeing it.

Sadly, people don't seem to like the design(s). Though I think this could make a good border edging for a lilypond scene - possibly with some of the frogs stepping out of the tessellation and into the picture part.

We can always count on you to present us with some sort of cool tessellation and an interesting commentary.
