Looking forward to seeing the swatch of this one when it gets here. I'm hoping it's everything it looks like it will be.
This came out great in the test. This beauty prints at 300dpi and is waiting for your genius touch to create something fabulous with it.

Thanks for the hearts and comments Michael and Marta. To make the swirls I really had to do some stretching and I don't really feel the lines would hold up to a larger print. I'm pretty sure I could up it from the current 14" repeat to a 21" repeat without too much pixelation but no way on a full yard. It prints perfect the way it is displayed. Let me know if you want to try it at 21" but I would suggest you test it first. If you want to try the 21" I can make a temporary change while you test it.

wow! fantastic details, colours and shapes!
this is such a beautiful print! i have plans to make a kilt, and it's cut cross grain...is that how the pattern is set up? Also, was interested in a larger repeat...about a yard per. Please let me know, thank you!
I was thinking a flowy silk top a bit asymetrical hem, not too flowy but loose and comfortable. I can sew but I haven't had a machine in about 5 years and have no where to set up now as my house has been full of my giant sculptures. I found a gallery to take them all on permenant commission though and am moving to a place I can set up again in about 6 weeks.
I wish I could sew because this would make a really cool skirt or imagine a jacket!
Amy it is a succulent. It is nicknamed The desert Lotus and that is what I've always know it by. I don't know what the real name is. Thanks for the comment. This one I was really happy with but I must have posted it at an off time as because it almost went straight to the archives if Candy hadn't showed up. Thanks again Candy. And thank you Amy for giving it another go round. This printed so nice on the quilting cotton I can only imagine it on the new knit. Hope it grabs more love as I really want to see someone add thier creative magic to this and make something awesome.
This is absolutely beautiful.....and you have totally captured the Art Nouveau spirit! The colors are just amazing. The flower looks like a beautiful variety of succulent.....love it!
Thanks for stopping in and commenting on my Nouveau lostus Candy. This is actually what I know as a desert lotus and is a succulent plant. The photo flowers you see here are pretty true to what this plant looks like as the sun goes down and cast a nice shadow on it. The rest is using those fun and fabulous light distortion apps. I realy loved the test swatch of this.

Wow! The detail is amazing and the colours and shapes are at once modern and also bring to mind prehistoric animals and plants. Love it!
