Collection: Give Me Aqua Turquoise Teal
Note: The screaming cyan on your monitor is a monitor color only. The actual color is a softer aqua in various intensities. If exact color is important to you, see those colors on a test swatch. This is a sleepy and relaxing aqua, not a screaming tone.

The decision of what scale to make a design is a tricky one.
The web, with its small screens, and boxes favors huge scale to show off the intricacy of design. And huge scale can be used for things where you will see it far away, such as curtains, or upholstery.
But that huge scale becomes clown territory if you try to make a blouse out of it, and won't work in some kinds of crafts and quilting.
So what is the "right" scale?
I am setting my scales to look good (to me, obviously) in a physical swatch.
That isn't a format you see on the screen. But it is what you will see if you order a test of the fabric. If the details do not show up in the swatch, it is too small.
Everything I offer is available in custom sizes for purchase. In other words, if somebody wanted to purchase this at twice the size of my chosen default, I would temporarily adjust this for their order.
I know the medium of the monitor is not great for any small scale design. Maybe someday Spoonflower will give us a working magnify glass. But how many really huge scale fabrics do you have in your closet vs clothes with tiny designs? I tend to think of wallpaper and clothing when I set the sizes, not bedspreads because I will only have one bedspread in 5 years. But I will likely have 20 skirts.

Your designs are so lovely!!! I would love to see them in a larger scale to more easily enjoy the details seen when you take a peek at the zoomed image of your design. Wishing you all the best!!!
